6 Chain - 2 Pole DT Connector (To Universal Harness System)

MAIN APPLICATION/DESCRIPTION-


This harness is intended to be plugged into our Standard Duty or HD Light Bar Harnesses. You will want to add one of those as well, unless you already have one. Both this and our Standard Duty Light Bar Harness are 14 gauge. Our HD Light Bar Harness is 10 Gauge. 14 gauge is good for up to 15 amps up to 12 foot (This covers the length of both harnesses. For up to 20 amps, use our HD Light Bar harness with this. The Pins in the Weather Pack Connectors are rated up to 20 amps.

Here is your checklist-

  1. This 6 Chain Harness - Matches 6x 2 wire lights that use DT (Deutsch) Connectors
  2. Add a SD Light Bar Harness (Short or Standard Length) to connect to this if your total draw from up to 6 lights are 15 amps or less.
  3. Or add an HD Light Bar harness to connect to this if your total draw from up to 8 lights is 20 amps or less.
  4. Optional - Add a relay adapter as well if you don't have built in switches with fuses OR if the built in switches you do have are exceeded in amp draw to what you are using with this kit. (Example: You have a 10 am switch but 15 amps on this harness)

Additional Harness splitters can be added to this to add an additional light or two as long as you stay under the recommended amp draw in total.

    Harness System Description-

    This harness is part of our UNIVERSAL harness system. Each harness can be used for virtually ANY vehicle and ANY lighting application with the use of our many adapters and modules. Each adapter or module will simply plug into the harness to fit virtually ANY light.


    For example, if you have any light such as Rigid Radiance, Scene, 360, or any other make and model WITHOUT connectors on the bare wires with the lights. You will simply add on the included matching connectors in the included kit. 

    If you have lights WITH connectors on them, you just add the correct connector adaptor type. Some examples of connector adapters are- Rigid Pro Series lights or Single stage lights use DT connectors. Baja Designs (For the most part) use WP Connectors. If you have a 3 wire light (With the Amber/Multicolor background) you can use the included plug pack to either add to your lights 90% of the time, or your light will most likely already have the 3 way WP connectors on them, which will match to these harnesses. 



    These harnesses also can be interconnected to other adapters from the system. Including Tail Light or Marker Light Trigger adapters to trigger reverse lights, marker lights to backlit lighting, etc.

    IMPORTANT!!!

    This Component is a stand alone harness that is all you will need in applications like the Ford F-150 Raptor, where you are connecting in to the vehicles BUILT IN RELAYS and FUSES. This harness is not FUSED and therefore, if you are connecting it direct to ANYTHING other than a fused circuit, you MUST connect our add on Relay/Fuse adaptor to protect your lights and vehicle from fire.
