Upgrade your off-road lighting with the Baja Designs XL40 LED Headlight Kit — purpose-built for 2017–2023 KTM XC-W, XC-W TPI, EXC-F, XC TPI, and XCF-W motorcycles. Inspired by the performance of the XL80, the XL40 delivers 5,224 lumens of trail-proven illumination to a wider range of bikes. Engineered for dirt bikes with lower-output OEM stators, it draws just 43.5W — a powerful upgrade without the large power draw.

Paired with the signature XL Trail Lens, the XL40 produces both vertical and horizontal beam patterns with exceptional near-field and peripheral visibility. The Trail Lens redistributes center beam intensity to eliminate harsh hot spots — improving clarity through vertical transitions, quick elevation changes, and tight corners. The result is a smooth, evenly distributed field of light that inspires confidence in the most demanding terrain.

Designed to fit KTM headlight shells from 2017–2023 for plug-and-play installation.

Note: For Hi/Low functionality, the KTM/Husqvarna Hi/Low Harness (12-9016) is required and sold separately. The Hi-Beam Indicator will remain on when using the Hi/Low KTM relay harness.
